Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Compliance Shield website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AI Compliance Shield provides automated EU AI Act compliance scanning of software source code and configuration files, producing compliance scores, findings, and remediation reports. The Service is provided "as is" and is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
2. Not legal advice
Results produced by the Service are informational and technical in nature and do not constitute legal advice. You should consult qualified legal counsel regarding your specific obligations under the EU AI Act and other applicable regulations.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract to use paid features. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: upload unlawful, malicious, or proprietary data without authorisation; attempt to disrupt the Service; resell the Service without our consent; or use the Service to host or process information you lack the right to process.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment provider. You authorise us (or our payment provider) to charge your chosen payment method. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, branding, and reports (excluding your uploaded input) are our property or our licensors'. Your uploaded data remains yours.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Compliance Shield shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any fines, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for non-payment. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
