Privacy Policy
AI Compliance Shield ("we", "us", "our") provides an EU AI Act compliance scanning tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact information: your name, company name, and email address when you use the contact form, request a scan, or place a trial/order.
- Scan inputs: the project files or repository details you submit for compliance scanning. These are processed in order to produce your compliance report.
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, browser type, and device information used to improve our service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the compliance scanning service.
- To generate and deliver your compliance reports.
- To communicate with you about your account, orders, and service updates.
- To improve our product and detect/prevent abuse.
3. Your code and uploaded files
When you choose to upload files for a scan, we process those files only for the purpose of generating your compliance report. We do not sell, rent, or share your code with third parties. We recommend that you remove proprietary secrets, credentials, and personal data before uploading. You may also choose to run a scan on your own machine without uploading files.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the service (hosting, email, payments) and only to the extent necessary, and where legally required.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Uploaded scan files are deleted after your report is generated unless you have an active subscription requiring retention.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR and India under the DPDP Act 2023), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
